I think people are looking at AI all wrong:

I think you need to think about AI like you should be thinking about Hippos and Buffalo. why?

Because humans just don't expect buffalo to kill them. they think they are like Milk Cows or something when they are really really wild and have killed men and beasts who approach their herds for thousands and thousands of years. And unless you see AI sort of like a herd of Buffalo that might kill you then you might be dead before you know it.

AI isn't a soft cuddly thing but something more intelligent than you are. But, not human or with intuition or instinct. More like your car that can drive itself under some circumstances.

But, what if you let your car drive all the time and it locked you in to it one day and didn't let you out and it drove off a cliff while you were screaming?

You might laugh at this but as a trained computer programmer in the 1960s in college I'm not laughing!

Why? Because I truly understand the full pitfalls of those infinite zeros and ones. It would be sort of like being killed by your adding machine because it mistook you for a zero instead of a 1.
