The reprint from another Blog I was writing in 2001 tells me a lot of things about now

In many ways the blog is prophetic but also sort of sad if you compare our place in the world to now. Our place now is much much worse and to people in other countries we have become a Sick Joke only a Sick Joke that they cannot escape from. 

The bigger nations of the world like the U.S., China, Russia, The EU and Japan and others are just so large and unwieldy each in their own way that we are all like Elephants sleeping with Mice in the same barn. If the Elephants role over in their sleep often the mice might be crushed under the elephants. Or the mice might stay warm on really cold nights by sidling up to the Sleeping elephants.

So, what I see from this 2001 article is how "EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED HERE IN THE U.S. AND THROUGHOUT THE WORLD".

AND YET AT THE SAME TIME: "NOTHING HAS CHANGED AT ALL!"
