Looking for Signs in your life? Is this a good thing?

I supposed it depends upon how balanced you are to begin with in your life. But, often signs have predicted my future along the way. For example, I had t dream that the Grim Reaper (death) came to me for the first time in my life in 1989 when I was in Family Student Housing at UCSC and studying Anthropology then. I realized that Life or God was trying to tell me something. At first I realized that it could be predicting a nuclear blast there. However, after logically profiling this I realized it was much more likely to be an earthquake. Then also in this dream Death (the Grim Reaper with skeleton hands) held up two boney fingers to me which meant to me that 2 of my family might die in whatever this was that was going to happen. So, my wife and I and three of our 4 children (the oldest was in another area staying with his Grandparents because he wanted to finish High School there so he wasn't in danger like we were.

So, we went to Maui where we got good indications we would all be okay there and then watched the Loma Prieta Earthquake in NOrthern California that killed around 60 or 70 people and threw most houses off their foundations (at the very least) if they weren't secured by cement and  rebar into the foundation. 

It also destroyed the million plus dollar home of one of my then wife's childhood friends and she didn't want to talk to me anymore because I told her the earthquake was coming. So, sometimes telling people what is coming before it happens isn't always useful to them or to you long term.

So, we watched on CNN the EArthquake as it happened on TV in Hana, Maui, Hawaii where we were staying then.

Is it good that I was shown this was coming? Likely Yes. However, the end result of all of this if I am serious about all this is that it also financially began the end of that marriage too.

However, do I think I saved the lives of one or more of my children? Yes. I do.

Given the same experience I likely would have done the same thing even what I know now.

Also, the life I am living now here at age 78 could not have happened unless all these events transpired the way they all happened too.

I likely would have been dead by 50 if I hadn't followed the Grim Reaper's advice to leave the Santa Cruz area to saved the lives of my family then.

PS The point of all this is that Signs (however they occur to you) might save your life and your families lives and your friends lives throughout time in various ways. So, even though some things might be beyond your understanding, still I must admit that this saving of my children's lives brought me all the way here to 2026 at age 78 years old and not only brought me alive here to 2026 but also all my children and their children's lives too!

So, even though it sacrificed that marriage eventually it also brought a future for all of us. Because we are all still alive even my ex-wife who now lives in Oregon with her boyfriend. So, the far reaching aspects of Signs cannot be overestimated at least in my life so far and the lives of all my family members and friends.
