If you have heat like this this time of year and you get a Santa Ana Wind too then this could be dangerous in SoCal

This is the recipe for something like happened in Pacific Palisades and in Pasadena a few years ago unfortunately if you get heat along with Santa Ana Winds off the Deserts too.

However, when I checked the projected winds it didn't show up on the weather maps. But, that doesn't mean there won't be a Santa Ana wind off the Deserts either. This is what happens periodically when a fire gets going towards Malibu from the Ventura Freeway and goes down usually around Las Virgines Canyon Road from the Ventura freeway all the way to the ocean and famous people's houses often burn down like Actors and Singers and such who own these expensive homes along the ocean in Malibu. So, if they get trapped by the smoke and flames they often run out into the ocean and breathe through wet rags so they don't get smoke inhalation from the Smoke blowing out to sea. This seems to happen every year or two as long as I can remember since around 1952 when I first moved to California at age 4.

The last fire like this went through Pepperdine University on the way to the Houses along the Beach.
