I was 2 to 12 in the 1950s and 12 to 21 in the 1960s and 22 to 31 in the 1970s

 So, I would say the decades from the 1950s through the 1970s formed most of my opinions that I still have today about life here on earth.

It's true we all have to change with the times some but by the time I was 32 I was my own man and had created my own world and had married twice by then and was raising my son from my first marriage and two step kids.

So, though a lot has happened since 1980 most of the most important things that shaped me as a whole person happened between 1950 and 1980 in this 30 year period. Since then it has been a whole different world than I grew up in ever since. 

I suppose whatever era you grow up in the first 30 years would likely do this to you too.
