The problem is that the security is so low on all Smartphones that they could easily be hacked by different AIs. The end result could be the collapse of worldwide Banking Systems and the Stock market caused by AIs around the world.
I don't think it would end civilization as such but it would be very problematic if AI erased all bank balances in all banks worldwide and did the same for Stock markets worldwide too.
So, to me, this is the biggest problem that might have to be addressed soon simply because of how good AIs would be at crashing through Passwords through Smartphones especially by resident AI smartphones.
I'm actually quite surprised that I haven't heard about this obvious flaw yet myself from any articles I have read online.
Theoretically, a rogue AI or group of AIs might crash the whole worldwide banking systems in all countries on earth at once which could cause a Trillion or more dollar problem.
Of course it is also true that people with hard copy records of their transactions might be able to prove to banks that they are who they say they are and what balances they have in different banks and Stock markets. But, the problem is writing everything by hand down on paper likely isn't done much anymore which is what people might have to go back to if AIs start crashing computer banking operations worldwide.
However, if magnetic Tapes and other recording devices are used periodically theoretically at least computers could be restored with those balances even if this is done only once a day. However, if AIs crashed all the operating systems of the mainframe computers running banking systems this could be a problem too.
