One way to survive now:

Is to not spend any money unless you have the Cash in your pocket. This is what people did also during the Great Depression. This is often what even my relatives did too.

My grandfather's statement (expletives removed) was: "Don't Buy Anything unless you have the cash in your pocket."

Which is a good idea if you aren't rich.

Like for example, paying with everything from your Iphone is not a good idea for most people right now unless you are really aware of what you are spending.

IN this way if you get cash out and ONLY pay with Cash when you buy things you can be more aware of what you are spending so you don't have to go bankrupt during the next few years from unreasonable credit card rates that you have not checked on lately which are going up by leaps and bounds.

I would say the majority of people are driven into Bankruptcy by not being aware that they are spending much more than they are making. This when not caught in time results in bankruptcy which most of you don't ever want to do.
