“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go and do it.” – Howard Thurman

This statement is how you live through to 30 right here. They world will muddle on with each of us or without each of us but if we don't follow our hearts we have no one to blame but ourselves.

Each suicide (directly or indirectly) I mourn that I see or hear of because this is another person who didn't follow their heart and live their bliss usually. However, it is also true that my bliss included things like Rock Climbing that I gave up when I had my first child at age 26 too. So, after getting over myself I found I liked being a father more than anything else in my life.

I always found adults incredibly boring and sad and forlorn especially in the 1950s so children to me were the only interesting thing about life except for oceans, mountains, Trees and animals and birds and fish.

The level of misery for adults after the Great Depression and World War II was extreme for everyone. 900,000 Americans had died in that war and 20 million Russians too for a total of 100 million people. I think the level of devastation for mankind from world War II is beyond what most people now can even imagine. I think only AI turning on mankind would be similar to World War II and the Great Depression now.
