One of the main reasons I'm still alive at age 78 is that I have always been good at adapting to new situations all over the world

I suppose you could classify me as an adventurer in some ways but without this ability I likely would have died either in my early 20s or around age 50 or between 10 and 15 years old when I had night time seizures often caused by a concussion from rock climbing at age 9.

So, this adventurous nature I have always had and the ability (sort of like American pioneers) to adapt to unbelievable situations is one reason why I'm still alive today.

So, if you are adventurous and interested in traveling the world what you learn when you do this helps you also survive when you come home back to the U.S.

However, there is also another traveler's saying which is: "You can never go Home again!" which is also true.

Why is this?

It's about culture Shock of new cultures when you are in them and how when you return home it seems as strange to you as wherever you have been on earth while traveling.

But, the real point of all this is that the ability to adapt to new situations is vital if you want to live a long life here on Earth.

Can you imagine what I have already had to experience since I was born in 1948 in Seattle Washington?

No. unless you are around my age you can't.

Which is the point here that I had to adapt all the time to get to here.

Do you know what the future was to me in the 1950s and 1960s "1975".

So, what do you think I think about being here in 2026?

It's all pretty unbelievable to see everything that is happening now as well as everything I have seen since I was old enough to remember stuff starting in 1950.

For example, there were no stoplights when I was 2 years old yet. No yellow, green and red lights at all.

Instead there were moving crossing arms more like train tracks have in some ways that only said. "Stop or Go".

This is just one of thousands of differences between 1950 and now.

And the whole world has also changed this much too not just the U.S.

Everything everywhere has changed so very much it's not really possible to keep track of it all for anyone really.

But, somehow anyhow I'm still alive here in 2026 at age 78!

By God's Grace
