So, for example, by age 12 to 21 I was often leading the Youth Group which is usually on Friday Night and then often we would all go out to the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles to have Chocolate Eclairs which were amazing then. So, age 12 for me was 1960 and age 21 was 1969. So, obviously this was a long time ago now.
Then I was asked by a friend in the "I AM" Named Victor to come to the "I AM" School in Santa Fe, New Mexico then which he attended with his brothers for my senior year in High School. Two of his brothers had already graduated and gone off to college when I got there. Just Victor and Chris were there at the time. I grew up in Los Angeles County mostly in Tujunga and Glendale from age 6 and I lived there until I was 21 when I moved to Venice and then after a few months I moved to San Diego where my parents had just moved to so I could return to college as I had worked a couple of years in between college sessions full time. So, I went to college in 1966 in the fall and started then dropped out of school and worked for a year at a Publisher in the Mail room for a year then returned in 1967 and studied and became a computer programmer and computer operator on mostly IBM Mainframes and peripherals like punch card sorters and reproducers and Accounting Machines since everything was punch cards then and chips didn't exist except at NASA then and even then chips were pretty huge even at NASA compared to now.
So Friday nights at the Los Angeles I AM Sanctuary on Hope Street is where my parents were in Charge of this church from 1954 until 1960 when I was 12 when my mother's father passed away and she needed a break from going to church all the time to recover from this.
Also starting around age 12 I started playing on the Concert Steinway Grand Piano and eventually on the Baldwin Organ there in Church mostly on Youth night which was Friday Night. Although there was a Sunday Service at our church my parents wanted to be there for me on weekends when neither of them were working as much so my father and mother assigned another lady to do the Sunday Church Services and she eventually in 1960 became in Charge of the "I AM" Sanctuary too because she was very reliable and lived until she was 106 years old running that "I AM" Sanctuary too.
I also sang in the choir because my mother was one of the best coloratura Sopranos I have ever heard. So, my Dad and I sang Bass in church with the choir from 1960 until 1969 when I left the church. I think I was just too free thinking and progressive for that church system in many ways. However, my father was a very free thinker too and by debating with me about anything I thought or believed in he taught me to take seriously my position regarding all things and if I couldn't defend something I shouldn't support that Idea or thing. And this led to my parting with the Saint Germain Foundation because like all churches there is a lot of hypocrisy in all churches. However, I didn't realize every church was this way yet either.
College in my life was always very interesting to me. I had watched many people "Burn Out" on college like my Cousin who went 6 or 7 years to become a lawyer who went to USC and NYU to get his law degree and then passed the California Bar. He also Taught Law Some at Universities too as he was really really smart because he went to college totally on Scholarships both to USC and to NYU.
So, college was something I wanted to ENJOY and not burn out doing. So between my father and I we were very strategic about my college. First of all because of my Concussion caused Seizures from 10 to 15 I wasn't going to be getting Scholarships to Universities. Then we were into going to college from home as a way of saving incredible amounts if money. Then we were also into starting with a Community College and transferring up to a 4 year institution which also saves a lot of educated and also doing this often is a much better education simply because if you start at a 4 year institution many people get lost in the shuffle and forgotten for their first two years of college which causes 4 out of 5 people to drop out their first Freshman and Sophomore years in College anyway. So, my father and I (he was valedictorian of his High School Class in Seattle were very strategic about a cost saving efficient course through college which worked for me.
However, (At least as far as my education goes) when my mother needed an operation around Christmas of 1966 and my parents didn't have health insurance because my father owned his own business then I was asked to keep working rather than to go back to college to help pay for this operation which I did. So, instead of dropping out of college just for Fall of 1966 I wound up working to pay for my mother's operation in a hospital until Fall of 1967. However, my parents were very close to me after that because I had "STOOD UP" for them when it counted.
However, the problem for me is I had got used to making a lot of money and being able to travel on weekends and date girls and all sorts of other things so I wasn't like many college students who didn't have this money experience until they were 25 or older because they were busy getting degrees instead of working in the world. But, the other side of this is I was usually more grown up at every stage of life than my peers simply because I had almost died many times from age 10 to 15 and I also had almost died of whooping cough when I was 2 as well (until the Angels saved my life).
