A drone is also capable of flying very low to the ground below radar like a cruise missile

which is why drones and possibly cruise missiles also took out one or more of Saudi Arabia's oil refineries within the last few months as well. So, from Iran we likely will se more of this kind of thing especially all over the middle east from now on. Their show of ballistic missiles hitting U.S. bases in Iraq is another way to threaten all their Middle Eastern Neighbors now as well as the drones. And remember all this can be done completely secretly for the most part with no Iranian or soldier dying sending out these missiles, cruise missiles or drones from now on from Iran or any other country or drug cartel. This happened in September 2019 and we should expect other things like this from Iran in the near or far future too.

A drone or cruise missile is capable of flying at high speeds at about 10 to 20 feet above the ground and well below the radar. If this is done at night most people would think this is a private plane doing this instead of a drone. A Cruise missile flies so fast that people would wonder what went by that low to the ground. Sometimes they fly about the speed of a passenger jet just below the sound barrier. Flying below the sound barrier is useful because otherwise everyone would know something military is going on because of windows breaking and eardrums breaking by all on the ground from breaking the sound barrier.

A drone flies closer to the speeds of a private plane at only 93 miles per hour cruising speed. So, it might be less safe for a drone to fly too low whereas a cruise missile is going as fast as a passenger jet airliner at about 10 to 20 feet above the ground. It is quite possible if you were standing too near a cruise missile when it passed you might be injured from the wake in the air from the speed of it's passing by you. Whereas if it was night you might think some idiot pilot was flying in the dark with no lights on his plane which scared you to death as it went by you at 93 miles at hour just above your head. You likely would think it was just some drug runner in a private plane to do this which is common in many places in the world now especially traveling over borders below the radar. In fact, I can easily predict that drones of all sizes will soon be used (if they aren't already) for transporting things like cocaine and heroin over borders under the radar.

On 14 September 2019, drones were used to attack the state-owned Saudi Aramco oil processing facilities at Abqaiq (Biqayq in Arabic) and Khurais in eastern Saudi Arabia.
