Medical PTSD

When St. Francis of Asisi was in battle as a knight for Asisi in Italy he got PTSD which eventually resulted in him becoming a saint. He was known for birds landing on his hands and communing with him so loved was he by all creatures great and small.

But, remember that medical PTSD helped make him a saint. Many ministers and priests worldwide in all religions are created by the PTSD of war by the way. Many swear off violence and killing to become priests and ministers of all religions worldwide.

So, never underestimate what the suffering of PTSD can do to someone's life for Good in addition to taking them out completely sometimes too.

So, I say to everyone with any kind of PTSD: "Go with God into Peace!"

I had an experience not too much later in 2015 where I experienced various forms of medical PTSD.

I had a burst appendix and thought I was dying for about 8 days until I insisted on a CT Scan then they said I needed an emergency operation or I would die. But, I was so exhausted from them not diagnosing it the night my appendix burst and sending me home to die 8 days before that I was pretty upset because I knew I couldn't survive an operation after what I had been through the previous 8 days. Strangely enough, I woke up after the operation (I expected to die by the way in the operation) so I was very very surprised to have survived the operation at all. I suppose the best part of all was I already had Medicare so I only paid about 1500 dollars total for everything in the hospital. I'm thinking it likely would have cost somewhere between 40,000 and 60,000 if I had had to actually pay for it all. But, the worst part was the first few months of trying to accept that I was still alive and not dead. I was extremely traumatized by the whole thing. In fact, I believed I was going to die from all this for at least one year which also can make someone pretty strange too.

So, the point I'm trying to make here is operations are going to change your perceptions of reality a lot even if you survive them.

So, be prepared to die at the very least psychologically and be prepared for a complete rebirth in many ways if you have a serious operation. It's definitely a spiritual journey you will be on for quite some time any way you look at it.

By God's Grace
