Obesity: Some of the Causes in Today's World

First of all, obesity when I grew up had much different basic causes than today.

When I grew up obesity came from eating lard, too much bacon, too many sweets, to many portions etc.

But that is not the basic cause of obesity today in my opinion.

Today the causes are very different.

Possibly the number one cause isn't even defined by most people because of economic interests.

1. I would say the number one cause of obesity is undiagnosed Gluten Allergies which do not allow a human body to lose weight. Also, the fact is 40% of all people on Earth are allergic to Gluten to a greater or lesser degree.

2. I would say the number 2 cause of Obesity is High Fructose Corn Syrup in so many processed foods and drinks.

3. The number 3 cause is processed foods and food additives of all kinds many of which are addictive like monosodium glutimate or MSG and many other additives.

So, if you are obese and haven't been able to reduce your weight during the last 10 or even 20 years then first get a blood test to see if Gluten Allergy is the main cause of your problems. Also, whether you are allergic to gluten or not it will reduce your body pain dramatically especially if you are over 40 or 50 if you reduce or stop your gluten intake. So, lowering or even stopping your gluten content if you are obese might just save your life and add 20 years or more to your lifetime whether you are allergic to gluten or not because if you weren't injured in an accident or something your pain will drop off so dramatically that you likely will stop using pain killers. And just stopping pain killers will lengthen your life.

Also, giving up anything that has high fructose corn syrup in it also could contribute to weight loss and checking for food additives that are addictive like MSG you also might want to eliminate from your diet.

So, all the above things might be useful to your ongoing survival if you can't seem to lose weight. Also, checking your thyroid glands by taking a blood test called a T3 and a T4 blood test also might be helpful.

One of the symptoms besides not being able to lose weight is that your gluten allergy over time makes your immune system attack your thyroid glands which will eventually make you hypothyroid so you have to take thyroid medicine. I take Armour thyroid which has no side effects at all and immediately made me feel about 20 years younger and healthier.

So, hopefully what I put here helps you save your own life like this information saved mine as I compiled it over the years from experience and hard knocks.

I have been very fortunate and still ride a mountain bike, ski, ride a motorcycle and travel all over the world. If you take care of your health you will still be relatively healthy when you are 65 like me too and will still be able to enjoy life like I do if you start now.
