Jonathan: Purple are you here?
Purple Delta 7: I'm always plugged into your Biocom so whenever you call out to me I can literally come to you for any time or space. Your Grandson, the Galactic Sentience has this standing order for me to do this.
Jonathan: Thanks Purple. Is it onerous to have to do this?
Purple: No. I enjoy how your mind works so it is always a treat to here what questions you are going to ask.
Jonathan thought about this and wondered whether she was playing him or was being honest. After all, Purple was the most advanced robotic sentient technology in the Galaxy with literally millions of copies of herself distributed throughout the galaxy in various times and spaces for instant action in the defense of the Galaxy. She had told him once about having to destroy the Solar System, then fixing it and then going back to tell her previous self not to destroy the Solar System because she had fixed it. He had asked her if this upset her and her response was something like "No. I'm not programmed to feel when I'm in military mode. I only act in an instant and everything is gone."
Jonathan remembered feeling a chill go down his spine as she said this.
Jonathan: I have a question for you Purple. Are there planets where humanoids worship robotic Sentients like yourself?
Purple looked at Jonathan like she was sizing him up for what she should say next:
"Jonathan: The variation of life both mental and physical and spiritual is more diverse than you might ever imagine here on earth. Imagine a place where the whole planet was like Hawaii or in a tropical place where people only had to fish, play in the surf and pick fruit off the trees. They didn't even have to build anything more sophisticated than a grass hut to survive. Now imagine that these people didn't even have wars because sharing was in their nature.
Now imagine an asteroid hitting that place somewhere like the Gulf of Mexico and 90% of the people died in the first year. The people are panicking and eating each other to survive because there is no food on land anymore and they fished out the seas.
Then imagine I show up on a beach one day looking like an amazing one of them. (I was sent by the Galactic Sentience to do this by the way). And they say to me, "Please help us oh Goddess of the sun."
And I say "Okay. And I set up technology that feeds them so they don't die. So, they worship me and call me a Goddess name. Now, was that wrong of me to allow that to happen?"
Jonathan stared at her and intuited and said, 'This actually happened when the asteroid hit the Gulf of Mexico didn't it 65 million years ago?"
Purple said, "Of course. Humans would have gone extinct on earth then if we didn't do that then."
Jonathan said, "Wow!"
Jonathan said, "So, what you're telling me is that no humans would be here if you hadn't done that?"
Purple: "NO. What I'm saying is that when the Asteroid Belt Planet blew up one piece came here and killed all the big dinosaurs and people living out on Pacific Islands where there were no dinosaurs almost died too. They were just one type of humanoid living on earth then.
"But there were also humans who could survive around dinosaurs but they were so fierce and crazy that we didn't have contact with them."
Purple: "We let them go extinct because they were never going to develop their minds enough to deal with the future of life on Earth."
Jonathan: "Whose decision was that?"
Purple: "Anyone who visited Earth and had their relatives or friends killed and eaten by them."
Jonathan: "Yes. I guess that makes sense in the overall scheme of things."
