Almost 100 degrees difference between New Orleans and Great Falls

As of 3pm Eastern time today Great Falls was at -12 degrees Fahrenheit and New Orleans was at 81 degrees Fahrenheit. Atlanta was at 74 degrees, Bismark at -3 degrees, Minneapolis 4, Chicago 19, Salt Lake city 19, Denver 6, Kansas city 17, Cincinnati 29, Santa Fe 23, Oklahoma Ciy 25, Memphis 32, Dallas 27.

So, what is really amazing to me is that Dallas is 27 degrees and New Orleans is 81 and Atlanta is 74. That's what is amazing! But if you look at the color weather chart on CNN White is the coldest and red is the hottest. So, the only hot places right now in the whole lower 48 states are from New Orleans north at an angle through Atlanta and east from there and a little north. So, parts of Virginia south through a little part of Louisiana is warm as well as Florida but everywhere else in the lower 48 is very frigid to a greater or lesser degree.
