I'm not sure how many people actually understand that the alternative to the Proxy war in Syria would be a nuclear war between Europe and the U.S. and Canada and other nations against Russia.
There is a De Facto Cold War now in full swing between the Western World and Russia at this point and it is obvious to anyone who lived through the 1950s to the 1990s in the last Cold War. And one would have to say that nothing this horrific has happened to any country on earth since around 1990 when the Soviet Union Collapsed and became the Russian Democracy. The primary reason that this second Cold War is taking place is that Putin is the leader in Russia now and reminds me in some ways of Leonid Brezhnev and Nikita Khrushchev
in some of the decisions he has made. Except for the Balkans War nothing this horrific on a humanitarian basis has occurred since 1990 in the world.
So, as the Sochi games begin, since a Cold War footing has entered the world again, the main reason the President and his representatives are not going has nothing really to do with the Gay issues, it has to do with the New Cold War that exists between the Western World and Russia regarding the way Russia and Iran and Hezbollah are killing and starving Sunni Muslims in Syria and how Russia by taking this stance is preventing even Western aid groups to feed the starving and dying Sunnis in Syria.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
