73 degrees just after noon today on the Northern California Coast
Though it was 80 degrees yesterday here before noon, today just after noon it is 73 degrees Fahrenheit. In Los Angeles it is 81 which is much less unusual than the 80 it was yesterday here which is completely unheard of for this area. 70 would be a real fluke most years 45 to 55 would be more normal. 60 would be, "Hey. It's winter and it's warm. It's great to live in California!" So, no rain the rest of January like is being predicted because of how high towards Northern ORegon and Washington the jet stream is moving and then east rather than sending some down this way is sort of scary here in California for farmers who won't be allowed to grow any crops this spring or summer unless a whole lot of rain and snow comes pretty soon here to California from somewhere.
