In the late 1960s (1969) I can remember in college kids telling me that one couldn't get lung cancer from smoking pot and a whole lot of other untrue myths at that time. Later I found they were all myths and untrue. Though I can't imagine people chain smoking pot like they used to cigarettes (and some still do) this is still the case. If you smoke enough pot you are just as likely to get lung cancer from doing this as from cigarettes or cigars.
This is a sort of sensitive issue here in my family because we watched my wife's mother die from lung cancer from smoking cigarettes suddenly at age 75 when she should have lived to 80, 90 or even 100.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
