Geographic distribution of Ebola virus disease outbreaks in humans and animals - 2014
png, 175kb - If you click on the above word button you can see the range of this type or types of fruit bats known to sometimes carry Ebola. Since they might spread this to other animals in their range of motion this could be a concern. For example, if a dog that was domesticated was bitten by a bat and became infected the dog might pass Ebola to a human. Also, if a bat infected an animal hunted by a human and eaten by a human the human might also become infected with Ebola. So, this animal to human transfer of Ebola might be important for the world to consider too.
