Putin is not a diplomat

In some ways that's a good thing.

But, here is the problem.

Diplomats are used to saying all sorts of things and not meaning any of it or if so only in rare instances.

Diplomats run most countries.

However, Putin is not a diplomat.

What does that mean?

It means that because he is not a diplomat he is a warrior.

And a warrior always does exactly what he says he will.

Diplomats are not used to this so they don't know what to with someone like Putin.

But, Stalin and Hitler were not diplomats either and look at the millions upon millions dead here on earth historically from them.

The good news is that if Putin says he is going to do something, he likely will.

Whereas diplomats might mean what they say or not.

But, if Putin tells you he is going to nuke you, likely he will at some point nuke you.

So, in this sense at least he is telegraphing exactly what he is going to do.

However, here is the caveat.

He was taught as a KGB Colonel in East Germany to say one thing and do another.

So, is he a warrior like Stalin and Hitler?

Or is he a KGB Colonel who might say one thing and do another to trick you

Like in a really elaborate game of chess played by only one warrior, Putin

Against thousands of Diplomats?

This is why a chess master will understand Putin better than any diplomat likely ever will.
