The U.S. : A Wartime Stance?

The people in the U.S. are afraid and I'm not sure what they are afraid of more: Putin, ISIS, Ebola, China, the economy, or each other?

So, in times like this often the country goes Republican because that is the most conservative stance when things are scary. What we actually need right now is a decisive General to be our president much like President Eisenhower was. My suggestion would be retired General Colin Powell or someone very balanced but also very decisive like that. I don't think a career politician is what the U.S. needs now whether it is Hillary, or Obama or even Romney.

So, the people in the U.S. did the next best thing that they tend to do when they are really really scared is they vote Republican. If they want progress they vote Democratic but when they are really really scared like now they vote Republican when they are getting ready for war.

So, even if it is going to be another Cold War with many many proxy wars because of nuclear weapons, everyone kind of knows we are at war again and no one likes it at all. But, this is where we are.

Here is something on the last Cold War:
