And many of these 25% are Christians. Because Buddhism is not considered to be a Theistic religion it is therefore compatible with religions like Christianity. So, for Christians Buddhism might be considered like Hatha Yoga or Martial Arts. Many many Christians practice both. Or it could even be thought of like acupuncture because of the way many Christians think also.
So, you will find many thinking Christians seeing themselves as various types of Buddhists in addition to Christianity.
These is especially true among the very learned who might be Catholic Priests or nuns or Protestant ministers of all variations.
