How to be faithful to your wife

It is mostly about self respect both of yourself, your wife and your kids. If you take them seriously (in otherwords you don't want anyone else to harm them and you want to protect them, then one of the ways you protect your wife and children is to be faithful to them and don't stray.

The way I found to be successful at this is I don't flirt with women anymore. Especially if you have a history of dating a whole bunch of women like I did before I married the first time this is true.

Because in life most things are about precedence. And once you have done something one or more times your subconscious might not know you are married.

So, I found the trick of staying faithful is about not flirting with women. If you don't flirt in the first place then things cannot go that direction unless someone is just drunk and jumps on you.

And seriously, how many times has that happened to you?

I can remember only one time this happened to me that someone I had never met came and sat on my lap, put her arms around my neck and looked deep into my eyes when I was about 21 and she about 18. And to let you know how rare this is now this happened in 1969 in the summer at a church camp. And luckily, I was so young I was still single and unattached and so this was only a problem really for all the other girls and boys at this church camp.

The girls thought this girl was way to forward and the boys were jealous because this was an extremely beautiful girl. For me, I was completely blown away by the whole experience and eventually after church camp I drove to where she lived and dated her awhile.

But, after marriage all the relationships you had work against you in staying married and faithful to your wife and kids.

It's funny how something that can be so wonderful at the time turns against you after marriage in different ways.

However, I can vouch for not flirting. I've now been married 20 years and I'm happy to be with the right person and able to help my kids ongoing with their educations and sometimes traveling to points around the world with them.
