Human population and resources

It's quite simple really. If someone cannot have, feed, clothe and educate their children then it is quite likely they will not survive to adulthood.

Or unless someone has children so other people can raise them who do have the resources those children aren't like to survive to adulthood.

Without one of these two things occuring unless a child can find a way to raise themselves after 4 or 5 years of age they likely are not going to survive to adulthood.

Right now, these are the only three ways children survive to adulthood that are acceptable to put here at my blog.

Given the present state of human resources presently on the planet I think we are reaching a point where more people than some amount will destabilize life on earth to the point where it drives us all extinct.

Have we reached that point yet? maybe. Time will tell.

I was reading today how the very last white Rhino male still exists but for how long? for example.

So, how long before white rhinos go extinct? 10 years 50 years? I don't know but likely we would see the last white rhino go before 2100. How far behind are humans?

I remember being in Royal Chitwan national Park on the Terai of Nepal in 1986 with my family and a friend. We had to run from two of them and climb trees (my wife and I) and the one chasing me nearly knocked me out of the tree trying to kill me. But still, I still would like the white Rhinos to be alive because they are big, amazing and beautiful creatures even though 2 tried to kill us back in 1986. Also, when we were there there were also Tigers and huge snakes there too and other amazing stuff and a thin faced alligator (I think they were called Gars)
