The problem with Selective Breeding in Humans

The problem with setting out mentally to create any genetic result is you are weakening the strain of animals or humans by doing this. Your motivations might be sincere. However, you don't know what genetics will be needed for any race of humans or animals to survive whatever comes. Traits that you might think are undesireable might be the very traits that allow any race of humans or animals to actually survive unusual situations or outright emergencies or calamities.

You and I haven't lived very long so our best efforts might just doom a species of humans or animals to extinction when something unexpected happens here on earth.

For example, I have seen toy collies that are overbred just chase their tails in a circle until they die one day from it. People overbred sometimes get a little like this too. It is the mongrels of every race of humans or animals that have enough diversity of genetics to possibly survive anything.
