Water can be a problem anywhere in California
My friend's well is okay but his neighbor's has muck and sand down about 50 feet blocking the water. So, my friend is allowing him to take water from his well because his neighbor is worried about losing tenants because of the well problem. So, water even from wells is changing in many parts of California because of the long drought of now about 4 years. But, it is said that Mt. Shasta water would continue to flow out of it for about 2 years even with no rainfall because of the glaciers. However, there is still some snow on the mountain even in August this year because of late spring showers that brought snow above about 9000 feet.
