Home
Today we drove back to the Bay Area. We noticed it got to about 93 degrees at one point inland but mostly it went from the 80s in the Los Angeles and Orange County area to the 70s in the Bay area. So, it was mostly a pleasant trip except for traffic for about an hour through San Fernando Valley and in Thousand Oaks and into Santa Barbara. We decided to take the Coastal route because it would be a little cooler even though it would be about 1 hour longer than going up interstate 5. Besides, 101 goes by the ocean a lot until you get up past San Luis Obispo. So, it was a lot of driving in one day for us so we shared the driving which made it a lot better.
