This appears to be the case as storms from off the southern Pacific plow across Mexico and hit Texas, Louisiana Arkansas and points east. If this is what California expects later this year this El Nino is obviously a doozy. One lady had to be rescued from flooding in May while pregnant and now with a young baby she had to be rescued from flooding again in Texas and can't believe it is happening.
This last incident was reported on NBC NIghtly News for October 30th 2015 on Friday.
As these events happen (including the largest hurricane in the Western hemisphere ever hitting Mexico a week or so ago now, we get the picture of what El Nino is doing and going to do to many parts of the U.S. ongoing now as well as Mexico.
