It has been safe to say that "The World Runs on Oil" since around 1900 or so. However, all this is quickly changing (at least in the developed nations of the world). A Senile leader in Saudi Arabia (which is presently setting world oil prices as a leading oil nation) in it's bid to survive Iran, Russia and ISIS (The big three threats against the survival of Saudi ARabia.
However, don't underestimate a nation with as much money and influence as Saudi Arabia. They could make deals with almost anyone to do almost anything, (EXCEPT) Oil companies around the world have had about enough of Saudi ARabia (EXCEPT) it is a paradox.
This is the paradox: "Low oil prices help keep Russia, Iran and ISIS in check. Because high oil prices fuel their power on earth. However, the other side of the paradox is that high oil prices fuel the survival of all oil drillers, Shale oil miners, and all big oil companies on earth. So, unfortunately, what is good for Russia, Iran and ISIS is also what would be good for all Drillers, Shale oil miners and oil companies on earth!
So, what I would call this is "The Oil War Paradox". Do oil people survive worldwide or JUST Saudi ARabian oil? Do Russia, ISIS and Iran economically survive along with oil companies?
And what happens to the long term well being of life on earth in all of this?
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
