I was thinking about the Butterfly effect of Chaos theory in action more:
For example, this concept was also involved in the melting out of the north pole in December.
I was listening to the weather experts at the weather channel talk about this and they were saying that a storm that originated in the Pacific Ocean came across the U.S. but then went north to the north pole but because it was a warm storm it took the temperatures to between 40 and 50 degrees Fahrenheit. This storm is actually what caused the complete meltout of the north pole for the first time in recorded history.
So, we have the butterfly effect here where the Polar vortex likely was pushed away from the north pole for a while so it could melt out for a day or a week before it refroze.
However, then you have weather experts also saying the whole El Nino effect of this year has more to do with what is happening at the north pole than any other single factor.
However, they also say they don't entirely understand what is happening because they have never seen anything like this before.
So, you can apply the chaos theory to an Ice age potential here in the U.S., or Europe or Asia or Siberia or you can apply the Butterfly effect to chaos theory regarding a Technological singularity.
For example, the present court case against apple could (through the butterfly effect)
1. cause apple to comply
2. cause smartphones to cease to exist within 10 years
3. cause yet unknown consequences.
However, I view both the north pole melting out because of a pacific storm and the Government and Apple controversy as evidence of a Butterfly effect both in regard to the weather and in regard to our present obvious Technological Singularity we are entering now.
None of us know how either of these events are going to turn out.
Because of this technology could expand or contract in amazing ways.
This could bankrupt millions or billions of people depending upon how the government handles this.
Also, the polar vortex could drop and align with el nino and create a year long or more ice age.
How crazy is this?
We live in extremely uncertain times.
How many of you thought Trump could get this far last summer?
How many of you are still laughing now?
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
