So, SALT appears to be the Student Loan program here in the U.S.

So, they are talking about ending government sponsored Student Loans 

The other thing they plan to do is to end a lot of Medicare, Social Security and Medicaid.

This will cause people to starve to death, not get a college education at all, and not have a home to live in past 65 if they are relying on Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid. 

So, the result of the present tax plan is early deaths, ignorance and no health care for middle Class and poor people all across the U.S.
