It's mostly non college educated White males going crazy and killing people

The sociological phenomenon of mass murderers with the exception of the Las Vegas mass murderer has been lower class white males who haven't been to college Half of Texas, half of California and almost all o...who are feeling disempowered and trying to take back their power before they die or are killed. They don't understand the world right now and feel threatened by all the changes in it against white men in particular. However, I'm not sure what is going on beyond that. So, as things go worse and worse for white men as you have seen by the death graphics of whites (both men and women) it likely is only logical that the number of men going berserk (mostly under 30 but more and more over 45 also) is going to get worse and worse.

So, the poorer disempowered non-eductated white males often alcoholics or drug abusers with a criminal history of some sort are the ones most likely to shoot up schools and churches and other events around the country.

In better understanding this sociological phenomenon it might also be important to see it in terms of "natural selection also". If you have studied what happens when there are too many of any one mammal in an area there is a tendency for example, among lions after killing the male of a pride, male lions will also kill all the cubs of the male they killed as well.

So, among mammals (and humans in the end if you see them as domesticated animals like I sometimes do) it might be useful to see humans in the context of natural selection of mammals and what overpopulation does to different mammalian species.

Another factor is the death of religion in a lot of these people where they lose faith or never had any real belief in anything anyway.

Religion is very domesticating and often causes people to kill themselves rather than harm others.

So, killing others and oneself comes usually from having no religious beliefs whatsoever and acting only like an animal, a mammal would in these situations and nothing else.

So, one way to look at this is these men are going berserk and reverting to Wild Men without any civilization left whatsoever in them. So, there is literally no limit to the harm they will cause until someone shoots them in self defense.
