The Nanny Diaries (2007)

This movie stars Scarlett Johansson and is about a recent college Graduate from New Jersey looking for work in Manhattan and realizes she really doesn't know who she is. So, her perspective of her job as a Nanny is one of a Anthropologist Tribal researcher which I understand very well as I also majored in Anthropology in college as an older student after I studied Computer programming when I was young and worked in the field. So, I found this movie very entertaining because how many recent college graduates are nannies? And how many are taking care of really rich kids on the upper East Side of New York where some of the wealthiest people who work in Manhattan work?

Anyway, it is a fun ride of a movie especially if you like studying groups of mankind from an anthropological perspective. After all Anthropology just means (The Study of Mankind). I had seen it before at a theater in 2007 but as I began to watch it my wife joined me and we both started to remember we both loved this movie when we saw it the first time 10 years ago.
