Government shutdown looms: 10pm ET Senate Vote failed
The vote to keep the government open in the Senate has failed. The Democrats say they would be open to voting to keep the government open 1 to 3 days but it appears the Republicans don't want to do that. So, as of now the government is shutting down at midnight.
