Made it to Mt. Shasta yesterday and a classic pre-snow sky is here. It is presently 32 with a high of around 44 today. So, likely if anything comes down it will rain during the day at least but by tonight or tomorrow morning sometime the rain will change to snow as this is a colder northern storm and then snow Wednesday through Friday. The Mt. Shasta Ski Park said it would open the morning of the 24th which is likely the way things look right now as this seems to be a major storm coming in.
Right now it is raining from Coos Bay Oregon on up into Seattle and Vancouver in Canada. But, if you look at the radar the storm will hit here today too as rain first and then snow by tomorrow. But, likely on the mountain the snow levels will slowly or quickly drop during the next 24 hours.
