Why Does Donald Trump WANT the government to Shut Down?

I'm a very logical reasonable person here by the way.

I'm looking at Trump's behaviors and these are NOT the behaviors of a person that does not WANT the government to shut down.

For example, McConnell in the Senate (Republican Majority leader) has said, "We don't know what Trump will sign here". this doesn't sound like a president that doesn't want the Government to shut down, does it?

So, once again "WHY does Donald Trump WANT the government to Shut down?"

One reason might simply be: "So, the shutdown gives him cover for some other thing he is doing."

But what is that other thing he is going to do?

Disband the Congress, the Supreme court and declare himself King?

Think about what I'm saying here. What president before have you known to want the government to shut down for any reason?
