Migrations cause the end of civility in the areas being migrated into worldwide
because:
the poor in the areas being migrated into don't want to lose their jobs or homes or resources to those who are migrating to where they live.
This then tends to harm democracies and equality and tends to create fascism in democracies temporarily while resource needs are worked out between those migrating into an area and those who already live there.
Since 40% to 50% of the people of the world will be forced to migrate further away from oceans(as their homes and businesses go temporarily or permanently underwater) this will affect every place these people migrate to even if they are only migrating a few miles from their present locations because their homes and businesses go underwater temporarily or permanently as sea levels rise.
For example, we live where we do because it is over 100 feet above sea level but within 1 mile of the ocean in California. I know from experience of living in California most of my life that tidal waves caused by undersea earthquakes are very common in the "Ring of Fire" so I likely wouldn't live exactly on the ocean because of this "long term" but consider living above 100 feet in elevation near the ocean in California a good idea because of what I know about earthquakes and tsunamis.
However, just remember in 2004 in Indonesia and in 2011 in Japan, for example. In 2004 250,000 people died in Indonesia, Thailand, Ceylon and India and on many islands in that area around Christmas Day in 2004 because of a huge tsunami that wiped away Bandeh Aceh, Indonesia temporarily from the map that day. Then in 2011 another earthquake and tsunami killed around 30,000 people in Japan and created also the biggest Nuclear radiation problem we have ever seen long term in Fukushima where there were 3 meltdowns that will continue to release radiation ongoing for thousands of years into the water table and ocean nearby and there is nothing presently possible really to do to stop this through present technology on earth.
So, migrations caused from Global Warming and Earthquakes are a given. The only unknown here is when migrations will occur. But, earthquakes create quick migrations and sea level rise creates another type of migration.
Another thing that happens in Global warming is the desertification of some areas. For example, Arab Spring was partly caused by Global Warming and even though the original idea was a good one the types of government in the Middle East being very repressive for thousands of years didn't like the idea of freedom for the common man and so we have situations like the civil war in Syria caused by a minority government run by Assad repressing the majority of Sunni Muslims in Syria when murdered a lot by the Syrian Government decided to move to Europe. This then created Neo Nazi Parties and eventually Brexit and Trump in the U.S.
And now we have a minority party of the Republicans torturing the Democrats and the common people in the U.S. which to me reminds me a lot of Assad torturing Sunnis in Syria in some ways too and similarly may create a revolution here as well in time.
Hopefully the changes "whatever they will be" will come without major bloodshed. This is my hope for our country.
But, other countries not as rich as ours likely won't be as lucky as we will tend to be because of our level of education and wealth of the average person here.
But, in some ways the times remind me a lot of the Nixon years now only worse in different ways just before he resigned from the office of the presidency.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
