I'm thinking that part of the reason we are still fighting in Afghanistan and Syria is the state of emergency declared on September 14th 2001
Logically, this would make perfect sense. However, my question might be: "Why do we still need to still have a state of emergency ongoing since September 14th 2001 all the way to now?
