1918 Flu Pandemic was the most serious pandemic in U.S. History: The coronavirus likely will top the 1918 one

The three waves started in the Spring of 1918 which killed several thousand people including Donald Trump's Grandfather then in his 40s. His Wife, Elizabeth had homes built on the land he had bought in New York City and lived off the mortgages to the homes she built that she sold then. Her realty business was called "E. Trump and Son" the son was Donald Trump's father.

The first wave that killed Trump's Grandfather only killed several thousand people across the U.S. However, in the fall it killed 100,000 or more between September and October of 1918. The rest of the 675,000 people died the winter of 1918-1919 between November and Springtime.

But, around 50 million people died worldwide from this pandemic then.

So, I'm thinking that we should expect at least 3 times that this time worldwide so maybe 150 million dead from the coronavirus by this time next year.

However, if a vaccine comes into use this  might lessen deaths a lot in developed countries but not in most of the rest of the world.
