One of the more interesting insights of Mary Trump was how she sees Donald Trump as an extremely psychologically damaged Narcissist which I also agree. But, she sees the damage was done to Trump by her grandfather who was Donald's father who was a racist and didn't really care about the people he economically took advantage of and taught Donald Trump to not care about people either.
So, her take is that it is psychologically extremely damaging to Donald Trump to be in the oval office in the first place and just continues to take him and make him more and more out of touch with reality every day of his life there.
She mentions that Donald Trump has always lived in an Ivory Tower his whole life without the normal consequences the rest of us live with that make us more normal, especially than Donald Trump is.
