Healing in the Mountains

Often people travel all over the world to visit Sacred Mountains. For example, tour groups come from Europe, Japan, China, Singapore, South America and all over the world to come to Mt. Shasta because like Mt. Kailash in the Himalayas and maybe Mount Fuji and some other peaks around the world it is considered a very sacred place.

From my point of view All Mountains are sacred and all oceans and lakes and rivers are sacred but that's just me. But then, you have to find your own personal sacred place which heals your soul so you can go on living.

When I look back at the healing I received by buying land near McCloud within 10 or 15 miles of McCloud up on Mt. Shasta and building my family an A-Frame in 1980 I realize that without having done that I likely wouldn't be alive now. So, if I look at my life at the 1 million right decisions moving each of us to full enlightenment, that was one of my 1 million right decisions then. Home Schooling our 3 older children for 5 years out on the land and traveling many different places like Idaho to two Ravens and up into Banff and Jasper in Canada with the kids when they were young and living on the side of Mt. Shasta at 4000 feet really healed my soul in a deep way after being raised in Los Angeles county in CAlifornia from 1954 until 1969 when I was 21. Growing up in suburbia in Los Angeles then made me street wise more than anything else but buying 2 1/2 acres of land and building my family an A-Frame healed me from all of that too. So, here at 72 I'm still alive partly because of healing myself after being raised in a big city. And that is good.

So, now I'm healing from the last couple of years this month in Mt. Shasta which is great! I feel like a human being once more after everything I have been through the last couple of years! Seeing my wife not freaking out thinking I was going to die and healing might be the best experience of all for me!
