My Daughter is driving north and Vacaville is on fire
She said that the firemen had barely saved a whole housing development and the fire was burning right next to Interstate 5 driving north through Vacaville a few minutes ago. Most of California sort of looks like a Fire and Smoke Apocalypse right now with more fires burning than the state can realistically deal with. Hopefully, engines and firemen are coming in from other states to save lives and stop houses from burning all over the state. So far at least they haven't closed Interstate 80 or 505 heading north or south near Vacaville but you might want to visit Caltrans to see which roads are still open in the state if you are traveling now anywhere through California.
