I'm looking at all this much differently since 2 people I know likely have coronavirus

These people both have advanced degrees and have been very very careful since the cases all started last January. However, no matter how careful you are you eventually (like right now through April 2021) you might make a small mistake and that could be it.

The problem is just that so many people are contagious right now that now even if you are religiously wearing a mask everywhere you go it might not be enough to keep you safe. So, maybe reducing your contact with people even more religiously now might save your life and the lives of your families.

Even having one child in a school setting at any level is like playing Russian Roulette with your family's life ongoing now.

When I heard about the female Indiana University Student that died in her dorm room I thought of whether that university would be sued for wrongful death because it doesn't sound like a doctor or hospital was involved in trying to save her life.
