This time around, the cataclysm is us. It is being caused by human overpopulation wiping out thousands of Plant and animal Species as well as humans in the long run too

From this point of view Coronavirus is buying the human race time more than anything else to continue to survive here on earth. But, it doesn't stop the continuing extinctions of countless Animal species and plant species around the world. But, it does buy humans more time. How?

It buys younger generations time to grow up and try to put in place ways to stay alive and ways to keep more species alive on earth beyond human beings. Human beings would be very hard pressed to live on earth with all the other species gone (all plants and animals).

But, this is the direction we are presently headed in but this has also been put off maybe a century or so if we are lucky by the coronavirus. But, we must be vigilant for anyone or anything to survive here on earth eventually.
