We are in a similar time to the Hoover-FDR Transition

The loss of life then was from bankruptcy, Suicide and starvation. People who had bachelor's and master's degrees starved to death living in a tent city at the edge of a river nationwide. People who were tradesmen like Electricians, Carpenters, plumbers, plasterers, cabinet makers found ways to survive by working for middle Class and above people. Just to have a bachelor's degree alone didn't mean you could survive the Great Depression then. My own father was angry at his own father even though he was valedictorian of his high School Class that his father wouldn't let him go to college to become an Electrical Engineer. He never really understood I think that engineers starved to death whereas his brothers and himself always had cars and jobs and girlfriends and could even travel if they wanted to on weekends especially unlike many others at this time.

So, being forced to be an electrician and working for his father who was an electrical contractor meant he always had food to eat, a place to stay, and work to make money throughout the Great Depression. And even into world war II his electrical trade was helpful in his older brother and he wiring Liberty ships that shipped goods to troops throughout the western sphere of battle in World War II throughout the Pacific Ocean where they built these ships in Seattle Harbor.

In the Great Depression we needed someone to help the common man survive the crash of the stock market and all that hell that created. Then they kept FDR through World War II also and the war eventually killed him and Truman had to take over.

Now, Trump has ignored the coronavirus and we now expect 300,000 people to be tested positive per day by December and January if more people in Red States don't start wearing masks soon. This now is probably much worse than the Great Depression or world War II regarding all the deaths worldwide. But, either we may never know the full death toll or just how many are maimed for life in various ways after contracting coronavirus worldwide.

Then we have to think about the "walking wounded" we see almost every day who have lost someone they really can't replace or live without worldwide.

The damage done by Coronavirus likely will exceed both the Great Depressions damage or World War II's damage. However, most people aren't practical enough to see this yet. But, they will within the next 5 or 10 years.

So, in all these ways it is similar to Hoover giving over to FDR so the common people could still survive instead of all dying.

It's the same. Biden will keep the common people alive. the rich will always survive. Without Biden all the common people could die including those who voted for Trump.

God help us all!
