What's going on in Oregon that they are decriminalizing Cocaine and Heroin?

 I'm thinking it is similar to what happened regarding Marijuana in most states.

Before it was decriminalized in many states especially California there were at least 50,000 murders between drug cartels yearly at the U.S. Mexican border. So, because of the masses of people beheaded and murdered including Mexico Sheriffs and Mayors Marijuana was decriminalized in many states mostly because they wanted all the murders to stop and saw no other way to do this. The idea wasn't really to get everyone stoned who wanted to, the idea was to stop the 50,000 murders per year instead along the border.

I'm thinking it's a similar issue in regard to cocaine and Heroin in Oregon especially because so many are dying of overdoses across the U.S. who have lost their jobs and hope now. Suicides from all causes are up tremendously and will continue as long as Trump stays in office where people have no hope and just end their lives by ANY means because Seeing and hearing Trump makes them go insane and die by any means available.

Friends were telling me that they also decriminalized magic Mushrooms which I found interesting too.

However, I knew someone in college who eventually died from liver failure from using magic mushrooms too often as well. So, magic mushrooms are very toxic to your liver like alcohol is too and eventually fatal like Heroin almost always is.

It might be important to remember that I was in college in the late 1960s and early 1970s when almost everyone was experimenting in this direction and many were dying or going crazy right and left because of the stresses of the Viet Nam war and the draft and more people dying my age in Viet nam than any other which is people born in 1948.
