This likely will be caused by people traveling for Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Years to see relatives and infecting them accidentally.
This is likely the most difficult Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years day holidays in my entire lifetime and I'm 72 years old.
So, visit your relatives and friends for Christmas and New Years (and possibly accidentally kill them)
