Software systems not humans directly likely are generating both disinformation as well as Russian Hacking

 What am I really saying here? The way in which this insidious hacking is taking place it occurs to me that likely what is generating both disinformation as well as deep hacking like we are seeing at a company or supplier level is likely not directly human beings doing this but rather supercomputers developing software to confuse computer networks in the U.S. and around the world.

I was listening to Fahreed Zacharia on Global GPS on CNN I realized this likely was true. Because just like I use Auto-encoders rather than spending 90% more time to program this for you to read,  Russian Government hackers would develop government "auto encoders" not humans to generate mass disinformation using psychological attack programs on both left, right and middle Americans to mess them up. In addition facts about you and I could also be altered in severe ways where people's money and even their identities could be erased or changed by this sort of hacking at a deep deep level where they attack the companies that supply the software that the government uses so it is happening at such a deep level that no one human ever observes it because so much programming is now done by software programs programming instead of people.

So, I don't think people are actually generating this type of Russian Governmental hacking, I think it is being done by programs designed to hack in these ways instead at a level that no human ever sees at all for thousands of different reasons.

If you understand at all how computer programming actually works it works in many different layers. These layers are built upon layers originally built by the authors of the first computer programs used. So, literally there might be 1000 layers of different levels of programming that everything online is built upon worldwide. So, people in Russia likely would write their initial programs to attack really deep where no one goes anymore and so subtly that no one can easily find it because no one has needed to for 20 to 40 years now. 

However, it's sort of like building a house. Programmers today are programming the roofs and windows only maybe and not dealing with the footings of digging trenches or pouring cement or putting blocks in place if you are building with a pier block foundation instead of a Cement Slab like you see more in places like California where you don't see basements very much because of much warmer winters. So, if the Russians are attacking the very foundations of our computer systems you will need to build Software that can find it because people will no longer be able to realistically speaking unless you have thousands of man hour years for them to find it.

So, magnetic disks need to be stored safely so you don't lose them and the same with magnetic tapes because all resident magnetic memory in all computers and mainframes is now suspect from robotic Russian hackers.

And even trying to download real records to see what has messed up could corrupt those real records if it is ever done online. Only things removed from any online contact can stay safely on record.

So, how do you compare records without corrupting the real records that are being kept offline for security? 

So, if you create sophisticated enough programs to ferret out what they are doing you can find the problem within a few years time. However, the problems that can be created with this software harming us 24 hours a day at a supercomputer level are unfathomable at present too.

So, will we have to junk all our systems and start over?

Maybe.

In other words it might be less costly to rebuild our house from scratch from the footings up.

But, this also would be very unfortunate for all governments and businesses  in the civilized world.

But, this isn't a good idea likely for one reason which is Russia and China and all the other hackers worldwide would have hacked into any open systems programming within about 1 years time because of Super computers and more and more sophisticated software running and mind numbing speeds.

So, maybe trying to fix what we have might be best because any open system and easily be attacked and even closed systems can be attacked in house by anyone too.

So, even starting from scratch isn't going to stop the hacking of open systems worldwide likely ever.
