The energy department and national nuclear security administration, which manages the country’s nuclear weapons stockpile, was among the agencies breached.

In other words it might be possible for Russia now to launch our nuclear missiles at our own cities and military installations because of Trump's non-existent handling of U.S. security issues. It's true Trump has the nuclear football. But, if people in Russia have access to the Nuclear security administration they might figure out ways to either bypass the President's nuclear football or to turn it off completely leaving the whole country vulnerable to nuclear or any other kind of attack from not only Russia but literally any country on earth that wishes to attack the U.S.  

IF you don't have access to computers that work for the Nuclear Security Administration that's one thing but once you are inside many hackers would be able to figure out how to "Take over" from U.S. personnel it seems over time. 

And if you don't know how they got there completely you also don't know what kind of software they implanted there or what back doors they created to get information out. There are many ways to leave all sorts of software in place undetected for really long periods of time that could do almost anything at any time day or night.

And if these problems aren't solved before Biden and Harris get in this is just one more problem for them to try and correct. What a nightmare this is when you are just getting inaugurated.

AT this point Trump might be guilty of not only treason but also worthy of execution for allowing this problem to happen on his watch. However, executing a president likely isn't going to happen simply because of the precedent it would set for future presidents historically speaking. 

It would be more likely that he would be imprisoned and people would just throw away the key.
