the "Find" Feature in the Edit Function is Nice

I can't speak for all Browsers but if you are composing in Google Chrome I like the "Find" feature in the Edit Function when you click it the scroll comes down. Now look for "Find" and click on that. Though you can use it for searching the web, in this case if you are writing in your Google Chrome Browser as a blogger like I am you want to click where it says Just "FIND".

For example, I realized in writing in Chapter 3 of

I realized that I put the word "ghost" instead of "ghosts" and so I simply went into "Edit" and clicked on "Find" and then typed in the word "ghost". There were two incidents of ghost so I had to click forward to the second one I needed to change from "ghost" to "ghosts" which I did.

There are many tricks when you are writing like this if you can find them it saves you a great deal of time trying to find things.

Another Trick the lady who is going to edit my Book "Memories" starting in 2021 said was to take your writings and copy them into "Word" so you automatically get page numbers which makes it much easier not only to edit but also for people to read.

Also, another way to use find is for readers of writings like mine. It is easy to lose your place where there are ONLY Chapter numbers and no page numbers. So, if you close by accident your window that you are reading in one way back to where you are reading is to either remember a phrase near where you were reading before. Likely only about 10 or 12 words or less won't be repeated likely within anything you are reading. So, if you type into Find those words you will be able to find where you were reading even if you accidentally close the window you were reading in.

But, for editors or readers having something you write in Word is easier. However, I'm not sure how in a blogging format you could have things in Word and have that be useful. I can only see it being useful really in the printed word in a book for example. So, page numbers mostly are only useful when things are printed out on paper like in a hardbound copy or a paperback copy or even in a printout unless you are in a PDF format that allows for this.
